This project ran 2009-2010.

The Virtual Learning Academy was a one year project, the main goal of which was to train a group of schoolchildren, with communications difficulties relating to hearing impairment, in ICT.

The project involved 45 children and took place both in schools and in the Virtual Learning Centre, based at Bulmershe Court.

The project was led by the charity Deafax, and was supported by AACT.
